The Fairhaven Business Park has a fully functional deep-sea shipping terminal measuring 506 feet in length located in close proximity to turning basins and Bay Entrance. The terminal has electrical and freshwater hookups with over 38’ of dock side draft and 70,000 sq. ft. of adjacent warehouse facilities.

Fairhaven Business Park has recently renovated its 225’ North Dock Facility to accommodate the development and expansion of Humboldt Bay’s continually expanding Mariculture industry.

Warehouse & Manufacturing

With over 250,000 sq. ft of total warehouse facilities onsite, Fairhaven Business Park is the largest multi-tenant industrial park in the Humboldt County region. Warehouse buildings range from 130,000 sq. ft. to 6,000 sq. ft. in size with minimum “clear” ceiling heights of 19’ to 60’ feet. All large warehouse buildings are equipped with multiple dock-high loading areas, restrooms, high voltage electrical services, abundant yard areas, and other amenities perfectly suited for a variety of light industrial and manufacturing business.

Mariculture Opportunities

Fairhaven Business Park has recently renovated its 225’ North Dock Facility to accommodate the development and expansion of Humboldt Bay’s continually expanding Mariculture industry. Humboldt Bay is the largest single source of commercially farmed shellfish on the West Coast and oyster and clam farming activity are expected to increase significantly with over 2,600 acres of tidelands being targeted for pre-permitting by the Humboldt Bay Harbor District Commission and Humboldt County Economic Development Agencies. Hog Island Oyster Company of Tamales Bay and San Francisco has recently entered an agreement with Fairhaven Business Park to construct an 8,000 sq. ft. Oyster Nursery with future development rights to an additional 10,000 sq. ft. warehouse facility on upland areas adjacent to the North Dock.
